Systems Engineer

Ideally, the candidate performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk analysis, and supportability and effectiveness analysis. Software development experience should include object oriented software design, client/server system designs, multi-threaded design and development, strong C/C++ programming, as well as strong debugging and problem solving skills. The ability to isolate and correct reported defects, create and maintain software and have experience with several of the following, SSH, NTP, Bind, scripting languages (e.g. Perl, Python, Bash, etc.), Debian package management, Postgres, Syslogd as well as managing large amounts of data.
