A machine is already associated with your account.
What you can do:
If you are a MozyHome Unlimited user, you can add a computer to your account by logging in at here and selecting "Add Computer."
If you are a MozyHome Free user, you may only register two machines with your account. If you'd like to back up a third computer, create a new account or upgrade to MozyHome Unlimited by logging in to your account here and selecting "Get Mozy Unlimited" on the left.
If you’ve recently reinstalled your operating system or you’re installing Mozy on a computer that will replace an existing computer on your account, Mozy thinks you already have a machine assigned to your account. You’ll need to delete the "old" machine before you can use Mozy on your "new" machine. For instructions on how to do this, please contact our support team at homesupport@mozy.com and include the following information:
- Which Operating System do you use? (e.g. Windows XP, OS X)
- Which version of MozyHome are you using? (e.g. 1.8.6.21) You can find the version by right-clicking the MozyHome icon and selecting "About."
- What firewalls do you currently have enabled on your computer?
- Does your router have a firewall enabled?
- What Anti-Virus or Anti-Spyware do you have enabled?
- Which error code are you getting? (e.g. ConnectionError1)
In addition, please include the Mozy.log file as an attachment. You can find the file at:
For Windows, C:\Program Files\MozyHome\Data\Mozy.log or For Mac, /Library/Log/Mozy.log
Sometimes it looks like a text file named "Mozy."
