Firewall Help: Windows Security Center (Windows Firewall)

Open Windows Firewall from one of the following locations:

| Once you are in Security Center, click on Windows Firewall under Manage security settings. | ![]() |
| When you are on the Windows Firewall Screen, select the Exceptions tab. | ![]() |
In the Exceptions tab, you can add programs that Windows Firewall will allow to access the internet. In the example to the right, you can see that Windows Firewall allows iTunes to access the internet from this computer.You will need to add Mozy to this list of allowed programs. To start, click Add Program. |

From the list of programs that appear, select mozybackup.exe and press OK. |

If you do not see mozybackup.exe listed, click on the Browse button, and browse to the following folder:C:\Program Files\MozyYou should see mozybackup.exe. Select it and press Open to add it to the list of programs. Then in the Add a Program screen, select mozybackup.exe and press OK to add it to the list of programs allowed to access the internet from your computer. |

After this process, you should see the Exceptions tab on the Windows Firewall screen showing mozybackup.exe with a checkmark next to it.At this point, Windows Firewall should allow Mozy to access the internet from your computer. |
